- ½ pint of vegetable stock
- 1 oz. flour
- 1 teaspoon of mushroom ketchup
- 1 teaspoon of Harvey's sauce.
- Mix the ketchup, Harvey's sauce and flour with a little of the stock to form a paste.
- Boil the remainder of the stock.
- When boiling, add the paste and stir well.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, and serve.
