Brown Sauce
Difficulty: Easy
  • ½ pint of vegetable stock
  • 1 oz. flour
  • 1 teaspoon of mushroom ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of Harvey's sauce.
  1. Mix the ketchup, Harvey's sauce and flour with a little of the stock to form a paste.
  2. Boil the remainder of the stock.
  3. When boiling, add the paste and stir well.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat, and serve.
