Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
  • ⅓ pint water
  • 4 oz. brown sugar
  • 1 lb cranberries
Instructions
  1. Wash and clean the berries, making sure there are no bits of stalk or plant with them.
  2. Place the water and berries in a saucepan and cook until the berries become a pulp. Stir regularly to prevent the berries burning on the bottom of the pan.
  3. Add the sugar and stir well until it is all dissolved.
  4. Whisk well with a metal or electric whisk.
  5. Serve hot or cold with meat dishes such as turkey, chicken or pork.
