- 3 tablespoons of any jam
- ½ pint of water
- 1 teaspoon of corn flour
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- In a heat proof dish, mix the corn flour with a little water to form a smooth paste.
- In a saucepan, boil the jam and the rest of the water, then pour it onto the paste.
- Transfer the liquid back to the saucepan and let it boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the lemon juice and strain through a fine sieve to remove any lumps.
