Jam Sauce

Jam Sauce

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons of any jam
  • ½ pint of water
  • 1 teaspoon of corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Instructions
  1. In a heat proof dish, mix the corn flour with a little water to form a smooth paste.
  2. In a saucepan, boil the jam and the rest of the water, then pour it onto the paste.
  3. Transfer the liquid back to the saucepan and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the lemon juice and strain through a fine sieve to remove any lumps.
  5. Serve.
